Han-sur-Lesse (monument)

The monument was erected in 1970 by residents of Han-sur-Lesse (Namur province) at the site of the death of the partisans, two of whom were Soviet citizens. The location of the monument is 3 km away from the city of Han-sur-Lesse.
The monument is unmarked. There are two plates in French:
“These stones that have seen your blood, we dedicate to you. Oh, Unknown Heroes, you gave your lives to save ours”;
“In memory of the American pilots who died in these places, Russian and Belgian members of the Resistance movement of 1940–1945”.
